The hot press machine is a device that heats two pre-fluxed, tinned components to a temperature sufficient to melt and flow the solder; upon solidification, this creates a durable electrical and mechanical connection between the components and the solder. Heating rates can be selected to suit different products. The titanium alloy bonding head ensures uniform temperature distribution, rapid heating, and an exceptionally long service life. The bonding head features an adjustable leveling design to ensure even pressure application across the components. Temperature control is digital, offering clear and precise operation, and a digital pressure gauge is included to allow for preset pressure ranges.

Hot press machines, also known as bonding machines, can be categorized based on the bonding medium used: soldering, ACF (Anti-Conductive Tape), ACP (Anti-Conductive Adhesive), and TBF (Thermal Blend Film). They are suitable for connecting FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit), HSC (Hypertext Condensate), TAB (Transformer Adhesive), and LCD/PCB. Due to the increasingly miniaturized pitch of PCBs and FPCs in consumer electronics, traditional soldering processes are no longer sufficient for the requirements of ultra-fine hot pressing. ACF processes are increasingly being adopted by mobile phone designers.
