Applications:
The horizontal tenter setting machine is used to produce automotive carpets, residential carpets, automotive interior components, industrial filter media, and various other tenter-set products.
Main Specifications:
Product width: 1800–6000 mm
Heating temperature: Ambient to 220°C
Heat source: Direct-fired natural gas, supplemented by thermal oil heat exchange and external hot air systems.
Line speed: 15–60 m/min
Heat consumption: 200,000–400,000 kcal/section
Product thickness: 1–15 mm
Key Features:
① Chain track: Uses Monforts-style chain tracks and a horizontal chain drive mechanism for automatic tentering and setting.
② Edge tracking: Employs far-infrared edge tracking; deviation correction is managed by an electric motor and ball screw mechanism; features automatic pin-on and pin-off functions.
③ Process parameters: Speed, width, temperature, humidity, and airflow are all automatically controlled via an HMI (Human-Machine Interface).
④ High thermal efficiency: Oven temperature can rise from ambient to 220°C within 20 minutes; includes a waste heat recovery system for the oven to ensure high efficiency and energy savings.
Production Process:
Fabric unwinding → Fabric accumulation → Coating (face, back, spray, knife, or dip coating) → Tentering and setting → Hot pressing/smoothing → Air cooling → Fabric accumulation → Slitting and edge trimming → Fully automatic cutting and stacking → Or combined winding unit.
